Not far from the freeway south of Villefranche-sur-Saône, an interesting roadside stop, like a large stone house whose terrace is a delight on sunny days. The chef works here in a seasonal, bistronomic style, using local produce and fresh ideas. The execution matches the fare, and we're sure to appreciate the starter of burrata, avocado, tomato and citrus fruit, the "crousti-fondant" of cod back with mashed potatoes and black olives, and the more traditional poached chicken supreme with porcini mushroom jus and forest risotto.
