Chef's Restaurant This Grand Coeur, inaugurated a few years after the war, has been an unmissable luxury stopover for over seventy years, right in the heart of the resort. After several years under the direction of Marc Dach, the table at this vast chalet, one of the oldest in Méribel, has now been entrusted to Ludovic Escaich, who strives to bring his personal touch to a menu that is essentially traditional, reassuring and voluntarily luxurious: open raviole of lobster, crushed pumpkin, vegetable fricassee and bottarga, soft-steamed sole from a small boat, cauliflower cream and hazelnut butter with caviar, hot verbena-lemon soufflé and génépi granita in a sequence that quickly climbs to around €130. A fine cellar, home to a host of great labels if not inquisitive.
