Chef's Restaurant Trained in some of the finest establishments in the world, including Hélène Darroze and Pierre Gagnaire in London, and Guy Lassausaie in Chasselay, Fabien Ferdinand has returned to his first love, the mountains where every kilometer is both a challenge and a reward. His Chazal can be found in the heart of the village, in an austerely beautiful residence typical of this wild yet warm region. The cuisine is both modern and comforting, from creamy zucchini on shortcrust pastry, blue lobster and lovage sorbet, to grilled duck breast, quince, rosehip and parsnip, to a beautiful chocolate tart, creamy praline, chocolate ganache and spring flora ice cream (the chef is a passionate forager).
