Gourmet Restaurant You don't have to stray far from the bustling main thoroughfare to come across this bistro, in the finest sense of the word. You'll be welcomed with open arms by Frédéric and, perhaps, by the placid Jojo, the house dog. No neo-bistro decor, just authenticity! Beautiful old-fashioned counter and lighting, wooden floor and beams, parrot coat rack, tables and chairs that "go well"... It's certainly not very big, but so convivial! Reassuring, the suggestions of the day are not lacking in appropriateness, like this pan-fried brown mushrooms from the neighboring department and snails from Saint-Broladre united by a little sauce of character. Snacked scallops are delicately highlighted with a bacon foam and accompanied by a leek fondue and a "burnt" leek. As for Breton shortbread, it goes very well with lemons (several varieties) treated with mousse, cream and ice cream. All this can be washed down with a Pouilly from Domaine P. Noël, a Chinon from La Sablière or a Crozes-Hermitage from Domaine Courbis.
