Just a stone's throw from Place de Jaude, one of the trendiest bistros in the Auvergne capital, with its contemporary decor and lounge atmosphere. The place is as much appreciated for its cocktails as for Ludovic Raymond's dishes, in the vein of contemporary, seasonal market cuisine. The €37 menu offers excellent value for money, replaying some of the region's most popular dishes: cabbage stuffed with petit salé, soy juice, carrots and mushrooms, market fish, langoustine bisque, lemon powder and lovage, crunchy fennel and sweet potatoes, guinea fowl leg stuffed with poultry liver, drumstick confit, pumpkin hummus, poultry jus and tonka bean, a declination of kiwi and passion fruit, buckwheat, yoghurt siphon, lace tuile and passion sorbet. Good wine list, with choice at all prices (Peyre rose, mas Jullien, Montez, Jean-Louis Chave, Gramenon, Paquet, domaine des Bérioles etc.)
