Gault&Millau's review2025
On the road to Collioure, the Grand Hôtel du Golfe features a table with sea views from the terrace. Romain Hallot's cuisine respects the product and highlights the richness of the Catalan terroir: sea bream ceviche with leche del tigre is a pleasure to savor, despite an overabundance of peanuts; rosé veal from the Pyrenees or lamb chop rub shoulders with Mediterranean octopus or the catch of the day, a bass in this case, with turmeric and lemongrass from the garden. Authentic, classic cuisine with room for expansion. Very local winery (Domaine Terre Jaume), service a little mechanical, but friendly.
