Chef's Restaurant The Bistro de la Grande Maison is housed in a former 19th-century mansion nestled in 16,000 m2 of parkland, with chef Eddy Creuzé (former chef of Pringy's l'Inédit restaurant, which he sold to Kévin Kowal in 2017) at the helm. He concocts a cuisine that is less gastronomic, but one that resembles him, canaille, without fuss. On the program: cochonnailles, offal, game in season, dishes in sauce and also spit-roasted dishes; to wash it all down, around 500 wine references with a wide choice of Burgundies. The chef's wife drops in to check on everything, and the staff are friendly and attentive. For lovers of Lyonnais cuisine, the tablier de sapeur is for you, well simmered and tasty, the chaudrée de la mer, presented in a Lyonnais tureen, hides under its colorful puff pastry scallops, prawns, red mullet and a few vegetables swimming in a creamy broth. The dark chocolate tartlet is served warm and accompanied by a full-fruit pear sorbet. A smaller room for receptions and a large terrace for sunny days.
