Gault&Millau's review 2026

The Bibent's privileged location and reputation attract a considerable number of customers, especially on evenings when the competition is weakening, such as Sundays. It's all about getting organized to find a corner table and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The young staff are busy in every direction, and it's clear that they've been briefed to optimize efficiency and performance. On the plate, it's a little less dazzling: the speciality mimosa egg is pleasant, the sweetbread and poultry fricassee a little dry due to a slightly overdone finish, but nevertheless tasteful, in a wide-ranging menu with the South-West at the forefront, including, of course, cassoulet. We finish with baba, chocolate tart or the "unavoidable millefeuille". The cellar is appropriately large, including by the glass.
