Tucked away on a small street in the seaside resort and not particularly promoting itself to the throngs of tourists, this Baligan is above all a haunt for true Cabourg locals—and those in the know! Run for many years by the ever-reliable François Teissonnière, the restaurant offers a wide selection of seafood dishes, perfect for gathering around a feast by the sea. On the large tables, you’ll find scallops in garlic butter, half a lobster, seafood platters, oysters, lobster pasta, seafood sauerkraut, cuttlefish carbonara, rice pudding with caramel sauce, and prunes in Armagnac… Takeout is also available.
