Remarkable Restaurant In this highly refined empire of the senses on Avenue George V, 39 V (pronounced "cinq", of course) is a haven of wisdom and good taste. Forget luxurious debauchery for this hushed salon that offers a fine view from the sixth floor. The chef is a master who knows his city, his clientele and their habits well. The cuisine is precise, the offer well adapted for everyone's pleasure. In the evening, there's a six-course menu at €145, while lunch is a bargain at €50 or €60 for two or three courses. And then there's a truly fine menu from a chef who looks for the best product and the best way to work it: Crisenon trout with kimchi and horseradish, raw red tuna with acidulated ajo blanco rhubarb, Burgaud duck with kabu (turnip) fondant with green condiment and lemon salt, or the convivial and generous homemade paella... Beautiful chocolate soufflé espelette in an attractive list, cellar adapted with seriousness in all regions.
