Gourmet Restaurant One of the most talked-about young restaurants in France, Lamaccotte holds its own. On the doorstep of the city center, it's a beautiful, lively dining room, where chef Maxime Fillaut, who has worked for Guillaume Maccotta for a number of years, serves up a fine selection of dishes. Ideas from here and elsewhere, respect for the product and the seasons, through a brilliant inspiration on Roscoff onion, beef cheek confit with celery cream and beet pickles, shallot condiment, poached pear with almond and meadowsweet. A good cellar with solid references (Mélaric, Bellivière, Bretaudeau for the Loire) and a love of healthy, natural wines (Ostertag, Lapierre, Giboulot...), well led by sommelier Tom.
