Cécile and Renaud Richard complement each other perfectly: Cécile's cuisine is rooted in the produce and the seasons, in a friendly, lively setting, while Renaud fine-tunes a structured, coherent cellar, focusing on the Loire and Burgundy regions. The menu is based around an affordable market menu (€28 and €35), complemented at lunchtime by a selection of more traditional dishes. The menu is balanced between land and sea, with dishes such as scallops a la plancha with fish roe beurre blanc, turbot with asparagus and hazelnut oil emulsion, lamb pastilla and barbecued fish rillette. The plates are clear and tasteful, with careful attention paid to textures and seasonal produce. Service is organized around a team present in the dining room, divided between the different areas, under the supervision of the owner-manager.
