Well-executed home-style cooking that suits the neighborhood, though perhaps a little less ambitious than in the past. A pleasant setting, affordable prices, and a great way to enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank: a well-made terrine, a generous slice served with pickled and sautéed onions, white asparagus with a frothy sauce, perfectly cooked pollock with simple sides, a modest beef steak with chimichurri sauce, and a rum baba that lives up to its promise. A suitable wine list to pair with these dishes.
