Gourmet Restaurant A charming stone house in a picturesque village south of Bergerac, where you can discover the cuisine of David Douet. The chef has as much a taste for the Périgord as he does for the sea, offering both local and coastal produce. The €38 formula is a good introduction, with flame-cooked mackerel and marinated organic celery, peach of the moment, René's sweet potatoes and hollandaise sauce, fillet of duck roasted on the skin, glazed carrots, cabbage with Boisse hazelnut cream. And for those with a more upscale taste, the €50 menu includes foie gras mi-cuit au Monbazillac and back of venison. The establishment also offers bed and breakfast accommodation.
