There's no need to look far and wide for the best value for money in Cassis: the answer is often found in chefs' bistros. In the superb setting of Villa Madie, Marielle and Dimitri Droisneau have designed this ideal Provencal brasserie, for its terrace overlooking Anse Corton and its dishes that are both rooted and refined: beef tartar with oysters, Marseille sausage and octopus sautéed with fennel and squid ink gnocchi, poultry supreme with pomme paillasson and blanquette emulsion, lemon tart or whisky chocolate tiramisu, in a well-mastered menu that leaves plenty of choice, for €70. The service is top-notch, and part of the Villa's extensive cellar is open to the public.
