Gault&Millau's review 2026

The location is one of the main assets, with the restaurant taking advantage of the former Blois orangery, just opposite the royal castle. The brasserie benefits from a historic setting that has been very well brought up to date, with a bucolic terrace in summer, overlooking the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul church. The menu is consensual and practical: artichoke flower, poached egg and smoked salmon, linguine of scallops and prawns, shellfish sauce, parmesan shavings and smoked salmon, filet mignon of Wellington-style pork... Efficient service.
