Chef's Restaurant It's a rare moment when you feel like you've been invited into a friend's home. And that's exactly how Olivier Christoffel welcomes you. You're at home in the house where he lives, having lunch in his dining room, with dishes prepared in the original kitchen. The chef does it all, taking orders and providing service, without counting the hours. His Eastern French origins are reflected in the menu in small touches, combined with local traditions: fish of the moment, vegetable baeckeoffe, carcass juice or pogne diplomate, Lorraine mirabelles, vanilla ice cream. A lot of precision and balance, reserved for a small number of diners: a special mention to the "velouté pomme de terre, poireau et espuma de persil" appetizer in a play of textures and temperatures. You'll find affordable and not-so-affordable wines, with a focus on the Rhône Valley. The service provided by your host is impeccable.
