Gourmet Restaurant It's the heart of Reims' gastronomy! The opening of this "inclusive" restaurant, whose façade is reminiscent of the city's Art-Deco heritage, was also a pleasant surprise. It's on the edge of the vast Halles, in a lively district, that this long-term project has come to fruition. The room, with its relaxing acoustics, is extremely bright and warm, with light wood furnishings and a beautiful "original" mosaic floor. It's a setting perfectly suited to the development of an adorable and, frankly, "professional" staff! In the kitchen, Philippe Joly, a former second-in-command at Le Foch (3 toques), is at the helm. Suffice to say, he knows his stuff. The cod gravlax, highlighted by notes of satay and mango chutney, is a fresh starter. The roast poultry plays the autumnal card to the hilt with the presence of pumpkin and chestnuts (in raviole). The pastry chef, too, has a sense of gourmandise, with a devilishly creamy chocolate mousse combined with the crispness of a gavotte and a subtle Piedmont hazelnut ice cream. Even if the cellar is anecdotal to say the least, we heartily recommend this place!
