A charming and much-needed inn whose presence and efforts we commend in this Andelle valley, where the classics of yesteryear have not been replaced. In this almond decor with parquet flooring and stone walls, a friendly breeze of youth and attachment to the local area blows through. The chef means well, his plates are sincere, the prices fair, and Claire's application and growing ease are well worth the ticket, in a menu that's simple, contemporary and traditional at the same time: foie gras well done, a little salty but with a good texture, scallops (with coral, as in the old days) and parsnip velouté with a gourmet bisque, magret en basse température, potiron, jus de viande et poivre, moelleux au chocolat Cluizel agréable avec sorbet mirabelle. The cellar makes an effort with small bottles at around €30.
