Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of the Causses du Quercy, a beautiful country inn with authenticity as its first argument, a stone village house with a certain charm, and where we find the Bouetards, welcoming and passionate patrons. Romain and Marlène have developed a happy regional experience that we like to come back to year after year, for the value for money, the good execution, and these formidable plates of produce, which are a most successful tribute to the terroir. On the menu at €34, you'll find pork "effiloché" in brioche, cream of celery and vegetable crisp, redfish, butternut purée, polenta, leek fondue and fish cream, roast veal, endive tatin, pommes grenaille and meat jus, tender chocolate cream and Breton shortbread. Good selection by the glass.
