Gault&Millau's review2025
A lovely old house to succumb to the joys of epicureanism. The menu is simple and traditional, and Gilles Labbé is a skilful young chef who knows his classics and updates them with care: foie gras mi-cuit fruits de saison, roasted langoustines, seven-hour lamb with walnuts, guinea fowl and pigeon legs with dried fruit, tournedos à la Rossini... Noble products, respected in preparation and presentation, a good complete menu at €44, ending with a peanut and chocolate delight. Bergerac and Pécharmant in the cellar, and of course Bordeaux wines.
