Gourmet Restaurant For a long time, it was the good side of things that this Envers, a warm bistro where winegrowers met. As time went by, the brasserie spirit, with its reputation for good food, prevailed without really having all the qualities. The plate remains at a good level, but the overall service is a little lacking in commitment for a cuisine that seeks consensus above all else (the catch of the day, for example, is cod): squid stuffed with a well-mixed device, crunchy ham and full-bodied jus, veal liver with sherry vinegar, garlic and parsley, a fine slice, firm and melting at the same time, well cooked pink, before the XXL profiterole which only captivates by its size. Mostly from Bordeaux, with a few good references elsewhere.
