Gault&Millau's review2026
Taken over in the early '80s by Jean-Luc and Françoise Larvoir, the parents of Claire, a chef by training and today the perfect restaurant manager, this delightful inn is now as lively and modern as ever, with its lovely, contemporary, uncluttered decor. The cuisine, by Claire's husband Julien Doupeux, pays homage to the region, with just enough of the latest trends to earn our two toques: pollack in vinaigrette, cauliflower, broccoli and tart apple and celery, crispy monkfish, mussels, carrots and saffron before a gourmet chocolate and tarragon combination (the chef likes to work with herbs and vegetables for dessert) in an excellent 55 euro menu. A varied cellar, with some very fine bottles.
