Gourmet Restaurant On the windows, in the dining room, on the aprons of the owner and waiters, the "K" is on full display! As if to hammer home the message and dispel any doubts about the convivial spirit of the place and the delightful simplicity of the cuisine. Returning to his grandparents' homeland after a fair amount of wandering, Valentin Vasseur has taken a slight departure from the postcard-perfect little port by refurbishing a former music bar in an "industrial" spirit that's bound to put everyone at ease. You can drink, talk, laugh and eat with pleasure. It's frank and tasty. For example, the starter is pig's head, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a delicate tarragon mayonnaise. The tone is set! As for the beautiful langoustines, they accompanied a risotto of good consistency, well-flavored, but a little too liquid. As for the desserts, they're alluring, like the "simple" kouign-amann and vanilla cream, or the delicious lemon cream with caramelized pecans, accompanied by peach and apricot wedges, though not quite ripe enough. Service is good-natured, and the wine list shows a keen interest in "the thing" at friends' prices: Irancy rouge from Clotilde Davenne, petit chablis from domaine Bardet et Fils, minervois from Pierrick Harang...
