Just a stone's throw from the Opéra-Comique, Manoj Sharma offers Indian cuisine tinged with Western influences. The tandoor cooking, done by the minute and visible from the dining room, sets the tone. The menu features carefully-crafted dishes such as chicken tikka with caramelized tomato sauce, roasted sea bream in banana leaf, or saffron and gulab jamun cheesecake, with its light, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Here, spice doesn't overwhelm: it underscores clean flavors and controlled ardor. Jugaad's traditionally prepared naans, attentive service and value for money make it a no-frills favorite.
