Chef's Restaurant It's an institution, a table to which you go with your eyes closed, with the certainty of making your choice and leaving satisfied. Maison des belles occasions, a faithful address for Clermont-Ferrand locals for over twenty years, it has the charm of the long haul, a plush interior and impeccable service, a cuisine of great gastronomy where fine products take center stage. On the autumn menu: scallops and langoustines, Paimpol beans, country bacon and truffle jus; lobster and parsnip cream, cabbage and caramelized onions, civet sauce; sweetbreads, creamy risotto, hazelnuts and full-bodied jus; mallard supreme and leg, carré du potager; chestnut dessert, whisky liqueur, feuillantine crisp and marron glacé surprise. From €40 to €138. Nice cellar.
