Remarkable Restaurant Chef Jan Hendrik Van der Westhuizen's reputation with an international clientele has given him the freedom to evolve. Hidden menus (€165 and €195), five courses a week, only in the evening, give you the chance to taste these delicate dishes combining Mediterranean produce and personal recipes, sometimes inspired by his native South Africa. Of course, we'd like to wish the chef that the hundred or so weekly diners still consider it a privilege for a long time to come. Across the street, you'll find a surprisingly gourmet break in the Maria area, where 91 different types of cheese await you.
