Gourmet Restaurant The beautiful house on the doorstep of the citadel has grown in size and reputation. Joan Sampietro, a true professional, has found the cruising speed to make his mark here in Sisteron as he did in Aix. The dining room is chic and welcoming, the service already well honed, and the dishes have that seductive mischievousness and savoir-faire, blending influences and tradition: pâté croûte gambas feta bisque et piquillos, sautéed squid risotto de céréales sabayon de courge braisée au safran du Jabron, lasagne de joue de boeuf burrata coulis de tomates confites... Delicious, regressive desserts (the good grilled apple grandma-style with cinnamon and vanilla ice cream) and a cellar with good regional references, where Vignelaure is well represented.
