Gourmet Restaurant This 3* hotel, tucked away in the hills above Sarlat, is discreet and quiet, with all the comforts of a pretty Périgord house, swimming pool, wooded park and terrace with arbour. Chef Ludovic Charrieras keeps up with the times, with his honest local cuisine, including duck foie gras infused with Noilly Prat, quince compote with aniseed star, farmhouse cider reduction and cereal bread toast, salmon steak, green quinoa risotto, almond condiment and ginger sauce, and a dessert of pear and mille-feuille spread. Good lunch formula at €27.
