Gourmet Restaurant French-Venezuelan chef Maxim Godigna, tucked away on rue Didot, offers simple yet colorful and flavorful cuisine. His six-course tasting menu at €65 reveals his creativity, with French dishes enhanced by South American condiments, served with kindness and slowness. Sea bream ceviche, citrus and guava emulsion, followed by foie gras semi-cooked in Venezuelan rum, grilled clementines, the peach of the moment, orange-glazed calamari, vanilla celery risotto and caramelized walnuts, beef tongue for the meat of the day, topped with a chocolate sauce, grilled manioc and two desserts, the chef's dessert caraquart, salted butter caramel, grated coconut and a rice pudding-style tapioca, caramelized pineapple and mango ice cream. A small cellar with some South American wines.
