Gourmet Restaurant In a small street in the old center of town, Simon Pénin and Audrey run Auvergne's most champenoise restaurant, with a beautifully crafted bistronomic plate and an affordable champagne cellar. Lunchtime is devoted to affordable, well-crafted market cuisine à l'ardoise, while evenings are spent à la carte, with more elaborate proposals. For €25, you'll find well-turned classics such as mayo egg with roasted buckwheat seeds, trout fillet with champagne sauce and small spelt with shiitake mushrooms, Flemish beef carbonade with mashed potatoes, and vanilla rice pudding with Buddha's hand. A fine selection of champagnes at unbeatable first prices, both by the bottle and by the glass, with Audrey's expert advice.
