Chef's Restaurant Granted, Coretta is crowded and a little noisy, but what an atmosphere, and what a success for Béatriz Gonzalez, master chef who keeps her two establishments, Neva and Coretta, at a very high level. Here, she offers lively, modern cuisine in a very contemporary setting opening onto the terrace and Martin Luther King garden. From the open kitchen come great treats: matured beef carpaccio, anchovies, yuzu, black garlic and Kalamata olives, followed by a sweetbread crousti-fondant, chickpea cream, shrimps, spring vegetables and an earth-sea jus, ending on a lovely fresh note with verbena peach, peach and elderberry sorbet and a veil of brown beer. A varied and affordable wine list, with a good proportion of organic wines, dynamic and friendly service.
