Chef's Restaurant The area is posh, particularly rue d'Anjou, and this table, just opposite another unit of the Manigold group, Contraste, attracts the eye of tourists and eagle-eyed connoisseurs. In this delicate barbecue aroma, the €79 menu is well under control, with a flawless and overall tasty parade: embered scallops on a raw miso cream, kiwi and tagetes in a broth, lightly smoked gnocchi barbecued Jerusalem artichokes on a curried mushroom emulsion, marinated and flame-cooked hind filet mignon, accompanied by salsify glazed in a redcurrant vinegar jus and a deer juice infused with verbena berries, well concentrated, a dish rich in color and flavor, of great gourmandise, before the clementine pavlova, fresh herbs and kumquat. A comprehensive wine list to suit all tastes, led by a passionate sommelier, with pleasant, friendly service.
