Contrary to the "bouillon" appellation, which is now widely used to downgrade basic cuisine, Le Bouillon d'Annecy has gone the other way, offering a rather clever and, above all, polished bistro cuisine. The menu at Le Bouillon, priced at €41, offers a choice of dishes from the menu, including scallops tartare with miso marinade, jalapenos with cucumber and sesame, braised veal chuck with Jerusalem artichoke and textured coffee jus, creamy chocolate brownie with buckwheat and thyme ice cream... A good selection of regional wines.
