Gourmet Restaurant The typical beamed décor on the pretty old market square, the main attraction of the village where Maurice Ravel lived, is sure to catch the eye and whet the appetite. In a poor gastronomic environment, the Annexe de la Licorne offers a good level of welcome. Without going so far as to say that it's a good value (the menu costs €47), the cuisine is simple, well prepared and effortlessly presented: pâté de tête, garlicy and well blended, with celery remoulade, guinea fowl "à la normande" with apple purée, salted butter caramel mousse and poached pear. Young, shy, diligent service, small, sufficient wine cellar, €10 glass (with no indication other than the appellation), €17 1/4 pitcher.
