Gourmet Restaurant An iconic inn in an iconic village. At the Zahnacker, we're going back to basics: a warm welcome, simple pleasures and honesty. Joseph Leiser, after 36 years of loyal service, handed over the reins last summer to Alexandra and Christophe. The chef, who has worked in a number of renowned Alsatian establishments, including La Pommeraie in Sélestat, will continue to work in the same direction, with the support of local producers. The Chef's hat is still firmly attached to his timeless classics: pâté en croûte, sauerkraut and fillet of pike-perch with Riesling sauce.
