Remarkable Restaurant Lochois has never seen such a gastronomic feast in the town. In just a few years, Clément Dumont has fulfilled the dream of many, bringing together the environment, the plate and the glass for meals that will make an entire region proud. The Valley of the Kings is not just an empty word: beyond its historical aspect, it is a reminder of the richness of the terroir around the river, which runs all the way to the ocean. For the chef, it's a fantastic playground: the finest vegetables, fishing from La Turballe or Noirmoutier, a modern yet sustainable way of supporting the industry, and, above all, a refined pleasure to taste: the marriage of pork belly and oyster, line-cut meagre and its "caponata ligérienne", bone juice with Touraine saffron, Racan squab, beet and wild blackberry, sriracha and pigeon juice. In the dining room, Océane brings an extra touch of distinction and harmony, accompanying each guest on a path of bliss, right through to the ingenious desserts, on cucumber crème brûlée with agastache, or chocolate and Mexican vanilla. A very varied cellar, with well-known names and discoveries from all over the valley, reinforced by reference labels from other regions.
