Chef's Restaurant Arkadiusz Zuchmanski's restaurant has been a Clermont-Ferrand institution since 2016, in this contemporary setting next to Les Halles Saint-Pierre. And, like the only other table in the city center in the same niche, the dinner prices immediately set the scene (first menu at €95, €110 to €130 à la carte for a starter/main course/dessert sequence). For such a high price, you're entitled to luxury products (scallops in a lime marinade with Eric Martin olive oil, magnificent Apicius beef fillet with foie gras, fig cigar and potato mousseline, before a beautiful dessert with Weiss chocolate and XO Lefoulon cognac) and a certain idea of modernity, expressed mainly in the scallop dish, presented like an abstract painting. Service is meticulous, under the direction of Marguerite, the chef's wife, and the cellar is essentially organic, without forgetting the small producers of Auvergne.
