Gourmet Restaurant After a very promising start, Andrea Martin's cuisine seemed to falter, with a hesitation between a Transalpine formula at lunchtime during the week and a French formula in the evening and at weekends. While we found it difficult to find our way around, on our last meal we came across a session of French cuisine. The scallops, although fresh, certainly deserved more attention to cooking and overloaded with celery chips, were highlighted by a peppy hazelnut foam. The sea bass, fresh and tender, is accompanied by crisp green asparagus, savory bear's garlic lentils and a vanilla sauce. We finish with a Mediterranean herb panna cotta that's a little cumulative, with bread crumble, olives and candied citrus fruits, lemon buttercream, olive oil ice cream and caper powder. The service is friendly, if a little overwhelmed. The wines are selected by Fabienne Brendel of La Table du Gourmet in Riquewihr, the owner's mother.
