Presentation

Born into a family of four generations of innkeepers, Christopher Hache has always been immersed in the world of catering. Trained at the École Auguste Escoffier, near Paris, he completed his first internship with Bernard Loiseau.

With his diploma in hand, the young man began his career in 2003 at Lucas Carton under Alain Senderens.excellence in prestigious houses and palaces: Hôtel Vernet alongside Éric Briffard, Le Bristol alongside Éric Frechon, and finally Le Crillon. In 2009, aged just 28, he took over from Jean-François Piège.

Immersed in the hustle and bustle and gilt of the capital, Christopher Hache nonetheless dreams of calm and simplicity. In 2019, he settled in Eygalières, a small village 5 minutes from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence."I used to go there a lot on vacation, and I love this village, which has a lot of charm, surrounded by the landscapes of the Alpilles."

He opened his own house, simply named Maison Hache. "I wanted to write my own story and create an address that reflected me, even though I've always worked in palaces as if I were at home."The adventure was a promising one. Gault&Millau immediately awarded him a score of 15.5/20 (3 toques). On the strength of this first personal experience, Christopher Hache will open a 4-star hotel with 15 rooms and a bistro in May 2023, under the name La Bastide d'Eygalières.
