Christian SINICROPI
Christian Sinicropi is a real Cannes man, one of those who find it hard to leave the city of the Festival and the shores of the Grande Bleue for more than a few weeks without feeling homesick. A passionate fan of drawing, poetry and painting, he thrives in the kitchen, where he can give free rein to his imagination and creative spirit.
Executive Chef at La Palme d'Or, the Martinez restaurant, since 2007 (and at all the hotel's restaurants)Christian Sinicropi began his career as a commis, working with Christian Willer at the time.
A few months later, he left the shores of the Mediterranean for those of the Atlantic and the Basque country, where he learned a great deal from MOF Jean-Marie Gautier at the Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz. Back to Cannes and the Belle Otéro, the Carlton restaurant then in the hands of Francis Chauveau, before returning to his first love at the Martinez, still with Christian Willer, who gradually prepared him to take over.
A conductor, philosophy teacher, cinephile and collector, Christian Sinicropi is the man who shakes up the codes between two cultures, a genius jack-of-all-trades and, above all, a hell of a chef, jubilant and bubbling, an agitator who comes up with a new idea every ten seconds in this exceptional and glamorous setting for jet-setters.
