Alexandre LABOUREUR
Chef de service : 2 restaurants Sommelier : 2 restaurantsA career can sometimes be the result of a totally fortuitous event. Born into a family of restaurateurs - his father ran a brasserie in Lille's Wazemmes market square - Alexandre Laboureur initially set out to become a chef, following in his father's footsteps. "It was during this period that I met Maëllie, my future partner and mother of my two children. She was working at the Clément Marot restaurant, in the dining room, and was preparing to join the Plaza Athénée.I followed her to Paris, and we never left each other's side. "
In 2016, the young couple left the capital to open their own restaurant, À la maison, in Lille. "We opened on April 30. A fortnight later, Maëllie sprained her ankle while serving. The next day, I suggested we swap shifts. She never left the stove, and I haven't left the dining room since. "
In 2022, eager to be completely at home, the two partners bought the café in the village of Gouy and opened their new table, named Origine, where Alexandre Laboureur's sense of hospitality and sommelier skills work wonders.
