Three whiskies to explore the nuances of French savoir-faire

Three whiskies to explore the nuances of French savoir-faire

France is home to a host of new spirits, far removed from traditional calvados and rum. A number of houses are launching whisky production to highlight their unique terroir.

La Rédaction

Whisky may still be associated with the Scots and Irish, but it's now finding its way onto French soil. These distilleries infuse it with the spirit of our regions, combining authenticity and local creativity. The casks used, the ageing techniques, the characteristics of the cellars and even the climate produce surprising whiskies, waiting to be discovered for an original taste journey!

From Haute-Saône to Brittany, via Lyon, these whiskies from our regions deserve to be revealed and tasted. Here are our tasting notes on these French whiskies
