La Tropézienne celebrates its 65th anniversary. A curious moment, for a pastry that has been talked about for so long. And with good reason. As fresh as ever, round and plump. This golden brioche, covered in sugar lumps, is split down the middle and topped with a double custard and butter cream. We loved it. We cut it up, transported it... and in the end, we can't praise its merits enough.

We recommend it at any time of day: perfect for breakfast, it's the perfect end to a country-style or festive meal, whether at lunch or dinner. La Tropézienne is easy to appreciate: soft, gourmet, discreetly sweet, it remains light and welcome. Modular in size, it travels well in its red-striped box, and keeps well in the fridge, preserving its taste qualities.

With its "one bite" format, which begs for a second, the large-size tart can also be divided into 8-10 generous portions. It offers the best of its composition, revealing all its texture and fragrance in its thickness. Created by Alexandre Micka in 1955, its recipe remains a well-kept secret that hasn't changed since its origin, and so much the better.
