Jardin des Chefs: Roland-Garros transformed into a gastronomic village
This year, for the first time, the Roland-Garros tournament will host a village at its heart - Jardin des Chefs - devoted entirely to gastronomy.
From May 24 to June 5, 2026, a brand new dining area will open its doors, featuring no less than thirteen French chefs.
Haute gastronomy at the Grand Slam
The chefs will set up shop in the Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil, a stone's throw from the Simonne-Matthieu court. They will be offering exclusive recipes, as well as some of their signature dishes. As Roland Garros Tournament Director Aurélie Mauresmo explains: "I'm particularly proud of this project, which is one of the great novelties of this 2026 edition of the tournament. Indeed, it honors a field in which France excels, and to which I am particularly sensitive: gastronomy."
"Through their dishes, these chefs will, I'm convinced, help to distill moments of happiness for the spectators at the Porte d'Auteuil..." adds the tournament director. A first, and perhaps the start of a great adventure.
An unusual venue for original recipes
In this new gastronomic destination at Roland-Garros, chefs will prepare their signature and original savoury and sweet creations in full view of the public. On the menu for these demonstrations : lemon-basil tart with olive oil by Jeffrey Cagnes, Landes asparagus in blood orange maltaise by Julien Duboué, kiwi-cucumber entremets byÉtienne Leroy, Jessica Préalpato's raspberry, citron gel and verbena cheesecake, and Denny Imbroisi's pita with Mamma Silvana polpettes al sugo. At the Magnum ice cream stand, Christophe Adam will be making exclusive ice creations.
To make the most of these treats, spectators will be able to sit out on the terrace, while watching the matches on the big screens. They'll also be able to take part in a host of entertainment: blind test, virtual reality experience, Smash Corner, live music,...
A prestigious cast of thirteen chefs, including toqués
Every day, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., two chefs will propose two different dishes. The pastry chef, on hand until 6 p.m., will prepare the day's dessert for gourmets wishing to take a snack break. All day long, however, it will be possible to purchase the inevitable"balle de break", a pastry in the shape of a tennis ball with a chocolate filling. Finally, in the evening from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the"bodega" spirit will take hold of the Jardin des Chefs, where chef Yves Camdeborde will offer tapas-style dishes to share.
