Tastings, tours and meetings with local producers... Are you interested? Once a year, the Balade du Goût invites the general public behind the scenes of local farms. It's an opportunity to meet local artisans and discover new places to buy food.

What is the Balade du Goût?

The Balade du Goût is an annual two-day event. The aim: to take a behind-the-scenes look at the work of producers and artisans and share their know-how. Market gardeners, breeders, arboriculturists, beekeepers, cereal growers, cheesemakers and other nurturing trades... All open their doors to you for a weekend to exchange ideas, share and discover their practices.

On the program: tastings, tours, meals, concerts and entertainment for young and old. Producers and artisans have pulled out all the stops to make this weekend a fun, educational and transparent discovery of their farms.

What's more, some farms offer lunch and even dinner. Many producers offer tastings of farm produce and 100% farmhouse recipes.

Launched in Seine-et-Marne by a handful of passionate producers, the Balade du Goût now involves over 80 farms throughout the Ile-de-France region. Organized by the Chambre d'agriculture de Région Ile-de-France and the Bienvenue à la ferme network, the Balade du Goût is supported by the producers who make it happen.

How to take part in the Balade du Goût?

Taking part in the Balade du Goût couldn't be easier: just visit the event website to find out which 80 farms are taking part. You'll find out about their specialities, the events they offer, their geographical location, and which of them have a catering service. You can also find the leaflet at participating producers' shops, town halls, some of our partners and tourist offices.

Reservations are recommended, if not mandatory!

When does the Balade du Goût take place?

The 26ᵉ edition of the Balade du Goût took place on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 throughout the Ile-de-France region. The 2024 edition should take place around these dates in 2024.
