There's always something magical about the idea of sleeping in the heart of the forest, protected by tall trees and one-on-one with nature. For all those who dream of adventure, here are our five favorite cabins.

One is just an hour from Paris, another is in the heart of the Occitanie region, and yet another is lost in the Jura forest... These estates all offer the promise of total immersion in unspoilt nature, in rustic yet fully-equipped refuges. A unique opportunity to recharge your batteries, far from the hustle and bustle of cities and tourist crowds.

Les Echasses - Eco Lodges in the Landes

In the heart of the Landes forest and not far from the legendary beaches of Hossegor, Seignosse and Cap Breton, this totally atypical estate brings together 8 ecolodges - sumptuous cabins built on stilts over a vast pond, housing delightful suites for two and a six-person gîte (the only accommodation available for families). Guests come here to play the Robinson de luxe, enjoying both sublime nature and all the services of a four-star hotel - spa, swimming pool and a remarkable restaurant (Le Comptoir) where you can savour tasty local cuisine - fruit from the orchard, vegetables from the kitchen garden and fish from Capbreton.

Les Cabanes du Hérisson in the Jura

This delightful estate owes its name not to the presence of hedgehogs on its land, but... to its proximity to the Cascades du Hérisson, a magical spot in the heart of the Jura forest. Depending on your mood, you can choose to set down your suitcases in one of the wooden cabins perched in the trees and extended by large terraces with private Jacuzzi, or opt for one of the family cottages located on the edge of the forest. Either way, you'll benefit from top-of-the-range services - massages offered in your cabin, breakfasts and meals delivered to the foot of the cottages and cabins.

An ideal base for exploring the Cathar castles and the Haut-Languedoc nature park .

Les Cabanes de la Réserve in Oise

Nestled between ponds, forests and clearings and only an hour from Paris, this estate is home to 25 cabins, ranging from Robinson cabins with spa, to Canadian cabins perched on stilts with a beautiful view of the forest.and observatory cabins hidden among the trees and designed for families (Buissonnière for five people). La Butte, weaving the future

They have succeeded in the difficult challenge of bringing a 70-year-old house, which has remained in the family, back to life and into the present. An exceptional refuge

Chamonix is no ordinary resort. Facing Europe's highest peak (the 4,807-metre Mont Blanc), it remains, today as in the past, the birthplace of the world's greatest ski champions, and the world capital of mountaineering. In the heart of the town, the historic Hôtel Les Aiglons symbolizes this "high mountain" spirit.
