Just a stone's throw from the mythical medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Toile Blanche hides behind a discreet gate. This is not a flashy palace, but a boutique hotel with character, designed by the Leroy brothers, Belgian artists who fell in love with the Côte d'Azur and its Mediterranean light. Their adventure, which began twenty years ago with a guest house, now extends to several restored mas in the heart of the Provencal garrigue. Behind the sober facades, 22 mineral-toned suites play the card of discreet luxury, some with patios and private pools. In the gardens, populated by olive trees, monumental sculptures and contemporary works signed by the same three brothers (Nicolas, Gilles and Gregory), art dialogues with nature. At the table, Mediterranean bistronomic cuisine can be enjoyed by the pool, while a country-style guinguette enlivens lunches. A refuge on a human scale, offering an out-of-season interlude.
