Just a stone’s throw from the now-famous Grenouillère, Chef Alexandre Gauthier offers his loyal customers a new experience with this bed-and-breakfast nestled in the heart of the village. A charming winter garden and a cozy living room make up this retreat, which also features four “special-occasion rooms” decorated in shades of yellow, green, or blue, with cozy beds, bookshelves filled with cookbooks, and bathrooms equipped with claw-foot bathtubs. Breakfasts are a real treat, featuring homemade praline to spread on bread that’s still warm. Once refreshed, you can choose—depending on your mood—between a stroll through the marshes or a walk along the 4 km of the town’s ramparts overlooking the sea.
