Fans of “Top Chef” swear by Le Jardin des Plumes, the restaurant run by the talented David Gallienne (2020 winner). Good news: they can now extend their stay by checking into the guesthouse that the Normandy-based chef has set up just for them, a few kilometers from the restaurant. This former dairy, adorned with blue shutters, has been transformed into a rustic yet chic retreat, featuring six contemporary-style rooms. The polished concrete floor echoes the geometric shapes of a Mondrian painting; furniture sourced from nearby antique dealers stands out against the ubiquitous white tones; and large windows open onto the garden and fruit trees. Don’t miss the tea room, where tea is served in front of the fireplace or on the terrace. The menu is, of course, the creation of David Gallienne, who has concocted delicacies here using milk that evoke a sense of nostalgia.
